Ivor Rimmer

Ivor Rimmer is the Managing Director and founder of Bateleur Resourcing. He started his career in 1976 gaining experience in Hardware, Software and I.T. sales, before moving into consulting in 1984 with CPL Contract Services, the pioneers of I.T. Contracting in South Africa.

During his time at CPL Ivor was responsible for opening up branches in Pretoria and Durban as well as leading and guiding the Consulting Teams throughout the country. Ivor was appointed as a Director of CPL, reporting to the Dimension Data board.

In 1999 Ivor was approached by the Bateleur Holdings Group to start a specialist Resourcing unit. Ivor brought a wealth of business, I.T. consulting and labour knowledge to the Group. Ivor's role includes managing the business as well as high level I.T. and HR consulting. In addition he serves on the board of the Bateleur Holdings Group.

Having been involved in the merging of the Computing Services Association (CSA) into the Information Technology Association (ITA) Ivor has continued to work to the benefit of our industry, including serving as an ITA Vice-President. He currently represents Bateleur on the ITA Executive Council.

Yolande Olhaus

Born and educated in Holland, Yolande started in I.T. in 1986 upon her arrival in South Africa, joining CPL Contract Services, the pioneers in I.T. contracting. Initially starting on the administrative side of the business, Yolande soon took on the role of Support Consultant, later becoming a Consultant and then promoted to Senior Consultant, managing her own base of contractors.

Yolande joined Ivor and the team at Bateleur Resourcing in August 2000 as a Senior Consultant. She makes a major contribution to the team by continuously growing our base of clients and contractors. Her success is based on her ability to build relationships with people within those companies as well as her large network of contacts and providing a top-class service.

Her exceptional people handling skills, coupled with her friendly personality make her a valuable asset to the Bateleur Team.

In 2007 Yolande spearheaded our move into the International market, establishing relationships with a number of corporate clients and recruitment partners in Holland, Ireland and New Zealand.

Dawn Hartland

Dee has been in the recruitment industry since 1989. Initially working in the general recruitment arena, she was appointed Branch Manager of a large recruitment agency in 1991 after which she joined a training company as Operations Manager. This company specialized in Business and Information Technology training.

In 1995 Dee joined CPL Contract Services, as a Support Consultant assisting the consultants with documentation, CV preparation, interviews and event coordination. In 1997 Dee was promoted to Consultant, responsible for her own client and contractor base.

As Bateleur's contractor base grew Ivor approached Dee to join the Bateleur Resourcing Team in 2001 as a Senior Consultant. Dee continues to grow new business and relationships within our industry.

Dee has a Diploma in Labour Law and in addition to her consulting role Dee provides both client and candidates with Labour Relations advice on an on going basis. Dee plays a vital role in the Corporate Social and B-BBEE portfolio's within the Bateleur Holdings Group and is responsible for the planning and execution of our Social and Environmental investments.

A true professional, Dee takes personal pride in all she does and is extremely well liked and respected by her contractors, clients and colleagues alike.

Jan Kubannek

Jaunette known affectionately as Jan, started her career in 1990 and joined CPL in 1994, initially handling permanent placements before being selected to migrate the administration system to the new systems platform.

Jan's many roles over the years included contract administration, contractor payroll, PR functions and events as well as managing the Administration Team.

Jan left CPL to expand her horizons joining a recruitment company heading up their small base of contractors. In March 2003 Jan joined Ivor and the team at Bateleur Resourcing as Office Administrator, handling all aspects of the daily running of the business.

One of Jan's many important roles is that of handling the contractor payroll and her superb attention to detail ensures a hassle-free and accurate pay and client invoicing process. This same attention to detail is evident in Jan's organizational abilities when it comes to planning and coordinating Bateleur's client and contractor functions.

Florence Nachinga

Florence known as Flo, was born and schooled in Zambia. Having worked as a receptionist at Bateleur Holdings since 2005, Flo joined Ivor and the Bateleur Resourcing Team in 2007 as a Resource Administrator.

Flo very quickly proved her worth and has become our "human search engine" and is responsible for mining our database in terms of identifying suitably qualified candidates.

Her duties include supporting the Consultants with documentation, CV preparation and follow ups with clients and candidates alike. Always a friendly voice on the phone and quick to jump in and assist when the Consultants are not available, Flo is a valuable member of our team.
